Lecture 11 - Library Activity

Today the lecture was turn to a practical activity where the lecturer given an activity called Scavenger Hunt. Scavenger Hunt is basically a game which the organizer prepare a list of questions for individual or for teams  in the aspect of gather or else to answer questions relating to the given set of questions. In this context lecturer given this tasks as a group activity consist of six members in each group and had to answer all the questions within 20 minutes. The main task was to answer six questions which means one persons had to answer one question in order to successfully complete the Scavenger Hunt within the given time period. 

Activity Done:
Lecturer mainly given 6 questions relating to books, journals, case studies and newspaper clippings that are available in the APIIT city campus library. The task is to find out relevant book name, authors name, ISBN numbers and author's of newspaper clippings depending on the given questions as stated below.

 List down books related to systems analysis and design

Reality of the lecture:
From this activity I understood that important information are widely available in many sources and formats. The only thing to do is search for them based on certain criteria relevant to the required context. Library sources are the most trusted source available for students like us to seek for informational needs. When considering the Harvard Referencing style, can be consider as the most prominent way of depict validate the source of information to a third party.
